Biography 

Crystal Brooks has been working in educational and health care settings, serving children and adults with disabilities for over 20 years.  She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary- Special Education from Keene State College in Keene, NH followed by a Master of Arts degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. She has been an adjunct faculty member with the Speech Language Pathology Assistant Program at Estrella Mountain Community College for two years. Crystal was the director of a private therapy clinic, program specialist for the Arizona Department of Education, and is currently working to expand special education services for students with disabilities in private schools. She has previously served on the board of the Arizona Speech Language Hearing Association and committees with the American Speech Language Hearing Association. 

Academic Interests 
Dyslexia, Specific Language Impairment, and Language-based Learning Disabilities.
