Biography 

Dr. Jeff Meeks is a speech-language pathologist in northern Arizona.  He is a former President of the Arizona Speech-Language-Hearing Association and currently serves the association as the Chair of the Government Affairs Committee. He became affiliated with the Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program at Estrella Mountain Community College as an adjunct faculty member in 2010. He has a BA in Communication Disorders from California State University Northridge, a MS in Clinical Speech Pathology from Northern Arizona University, and a doctoral degree in education with a special education focus from Liberty University. In addition to teaching and administrative duties, Jeff practices part-time in schools and a rural hospital. His areas of special interest include behavior management, assistive technology, clinical methods, and legal issues.  Dr. Meeks' dissertation research was entitled "Sound Field Amplification: Effects of Managerial Time in Small Group Speech Therapy".
