Biography

A bit about me: I started teaching at EMCC in fall 2010 as English faculty. I teach ENG 101 and ENG101LL, ENG 102, ENH 254: Film and Literature, ENH 291: Children's Literature, ENH 245: J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis, ENH251: Mythology, HUM/STO 292: Art of Storytelling, and HUM225: Introduction to Popular Culture.

I am also the Division Chair for Arts and Composition.

I LOVE TEACHING! It is the most amazing job that I could imagine having. I love helping people discover that writing doesn't have to be a painful chore and that they have nothing to fear from grammar. The literature and humanities classes I teach give me the chance to explore topics I am passionate about and help my students discover new areas of interest and connections.
