Biography 

Amy Hill is an instructor, advisor, and director for the continuing development of the Speech Language Pathology Assistant Program at Estrella Mountain Community College. She has been a Speech Language Pathologist since 1998 and has provided services to children in the Arizona school system.  She has been a lead Speech Language Pathologist in a school district and was the Chief Administrative Officer of a private therapy company for 10 years.  She has previously been the president of the Arizona Speech Language Hearing Association and continues to consult and work on a variety of state level committees relating to speech-language and special education services. Through these roles, she mentors and supports our community partners, fellow SLP/SLPA colleagues, and the profession.

Committee Member for the creation of the Arizona Technical Assistance document "Speech-Language Services in Arizona's Schools:  Guidelines for Best Practice" published September 2016, revision of the document again in 2019, and pending revision in 2023.
