Catrina Kranich

Catrina brings over 11 years of experience in higher education. She spent 2 1/2 years as an Enrollment Representative/Regional Trainer for the University of Phoenix, where she trained Enrollment Advisors and Workforce Development Managers on building partnerships with high schools and local businesses in the community. 

She then worked as the Director of Admissions for National American University, where she supervised a team of enrollment and academic advisors and set strategic enrollment and retention goals for the department and campus. She implemented Guided Pathways initiatives, including case management and pathway mapping. 

She then transitioned to a Performance Coach in the Quality Assurance department at the University of Phoenix for six years. Her primarily role was to analyze enrollment data and partner with Student Service Directors and Managers to assess each team's strengths and opportunities and then develop training/coaching plans. Training sessions involved discussions around Integrated Student Support and maximizing the student experience. 

Her experience at Estrella Mountain Community College began in the Nursing Division, where she worked as the Nursing Program Coordinator. Work included providing advisement to pre-nursing students and coordinating the nursing cohort, including managing health documents and tracking enrollment progress. She then worked as the Interim Student Services Director of Career and Education Planning, where she led and supervised department staff in the implementation of case management and FOI advisement until January 2019. 

She has been the Director of Outreach and Early College since January 2019. She oversees programs such as ACE, Dual Enrollment, Concurrent Enrollment, AAEC, Valor Prep, Hoop of Learning, Recruitment, and Embedded Advisors.
