Inhye Peterson earned her Educational Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Community College in Higher Education from Northern Arizona University (NAU), in May 2015. She has two master's degrees: Educational Leadership and English Literature.
She started teaching as an English adjunct faculty member at Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) in fall 2015. While she is a relatively new adjunct faculty member, she is not new to the campus. Her professional relationship with EMCC began in 2013-2014 when she was an intern with the Student Affairs Division; in 2014-2015, she conducted a doctoral study at Estrella Mountain and worked with division chairs, faculty, and students.
Her passion is teaching first-year community college students, not only to write at the college level, but also how to think critically so they can become more advanced academic writers and researchers to support the future education and career goals.
Her hobbies are a bike riding, swimming, yoga, cooking, and skiing.
