Biography 

Dr. Graber is a Counseling faculty member, the Director of the First Year Experience (FYE) Program, the Counseling Liaison for the Mathematics, Physics, Engineering (MPE), Nursing and Science Departments, the Lead for the Getting Into Energy (GIE), Achieving a College Education (ACE) Program and the Arizona Agribusiness and Equine Center (AAEC) Dual Enrollment Programs, and a Counseling FOI Collaborator to: 1) Health Sciences, 2) Behavioral Sciences and Human Services and 3) Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

She currently teaches CPD 104; which is a Personal and Career Development course.  This course is geared towards helping students navigate how to acquire and maintain a career more effectively; along with all accompanying transferable skills to one's personal life. 

Dr. Graber is also a Foster Champion and previously served as the facilitator for the MCCCD Veterans Constituency Group.  Prior to this position, she was the Program Coordinator for the Behavioral Health Science Program (BHS) at GCC. 

Her background is in clinical, judicial, business and educational venues.  Some of her areas of expertise include: domestic violence, eating disorders, substance abuse, sexual abuse, couples/family issues and juvenile delinquency, curriculum development and training.  She has a Doctorate of Behavioral Health (DBH), a M.A. in Counseling Psychology, a B.S. in Justice Studies, a B.A. in Psychology, a Minor in Communication, certified in DISC and is degreed in Facilitation and Train the Trainer. 

She has taught for MCCCD in multiple disciplines: Counseling and Personal Development, BHS, Criminal Justice and various workshops.  Moreover, she has taught for several universities, the federal government’s national training center and an international school both on-line and in the classroom.  Dr. Graber has delivered keynote speeches to national and state-wide conferences, serves on multiple Speakers Bureaus and has been interviewed on different news stations. Additionally, Dr. Graber is the President of Expert Facilitation & Training.
