Linda Cutright, not a novice to hard work comes with decades of professional work experience ranging from Public Administration, Community Development, Program Development, Grants writing, college level instruction, community mobilization and academic advisement, public speaking, grants writing, and events planning.
Linda has worked for the Maricopa Community College District through many changes and transformations. Twenty two years working in advisement helped her to become intimately familiar with every area of Student Development. She prides herself in student empowerment, generational and cross cultural mentoring having worked with adolescents and senior populations as well, advocacy and the overall phenomenon of Student Development. Creating successful educational/career pathways for students allowing them to realize lifelong success. Reflecting on her consistent message to students, “we first change ourselves, raise the awareness of those in our immediate circle, our community, our state, our country, “we then change the world”.
Bring proud to be a native Arizonan from the community of El Mirage, Cutright says she is a servant to the community and has developed pathways that has increased community development in many aspects such as housing, streets, infrastructure, created cultural events, development of a non-credit curriculum of classes, after school activities, parenting, development of case management programs, and year around enrichments and empowerments in the communities in the El Mirage area and Southwest communities of Maricopa County. She has a strong spiritual compass, a great orator and public speaker.
Having obtained her Associates level degree within the Maricopa system, her Bachelor’s degree in Management is from Grand Canyon University, Masters in Education with a counseling background is from Northern Arizona University and she is looking to soon complete her PhD in General Psychology with Capella University with two focus areas of Life span and Industrial Development.
