Biography

Hello, everyone! My name is Sean Tingle, and I have been teaching with EMCC since August 2011. I also teach with the Writers' Studio, an entirely online program at Arizona State University via the College of Integrative Sciences & Arts and member of ASU Online.

I have taught ENG081 through ENG102, and also ENG105 (at ASU), which is a combination of both 101 and 102 in just 8 weeks. Additionally, I have taught Humanities courses, such as Intro. to Pop. Culture, Hispanic Film, Contemporary Cinema, Contemporary Humanities, and the Honors Forum. I love interdisciplinary studies, and it's so wonderful for me and my students when we all bring our personal interests and knowledge to class.

I have a BA in Humanities and an MA in English, with future plans to pursue an EdD in Education in the near future. However, for now, I am just enjoying working with the lovely students here at EMCC and ASU.

I am happy to talk with you at any time, so please feel free to contact me via e-mail -- I generally get back to people rather quickly. Thanks for reading, and have a wonderful day! :)
