Sheri Watkins

Sheri Watkins is an adjunct faculty for the Speech Language Pathology Assistant Program at Estrella Mountain Community College. She has been a Speech Language Pathologist since 2004 and has experience as a practicing clinician serving birth through adult clients in a variety of settings including; private practice, schools, and rehabilitation facilities throughout Arizona. She has served as a part-time instructor at Northern Arizona University (NAU) in the Department of Health Sciences/Speech Science Technology teaching undergraduate courses including; Phonetics, Case Studies, Adult Communication, and Survey of Speech Pathology/Senior Capstone.  In addition, she has served as an Assistant Clinical Professor in Communication Sciences and Disorders at NAU providing clinical training to NAU graduate clinicians as well as instructing Contemporary Development and Independent Study courses in School-Based Practice, Classroom Practicum & Seminar, and Diversity, Disability and Poverty.  Ms. Watkins is currently working in a Phoenix school district servicing preschool through 8th grade students with communication disorders.
